Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
My greatest joy is watching my clients rediscover hope, and find success in resolving their challenges. Human beings naturally gravitate toward having a happy and healthy life. Healthy also means mentally and emotionally healthy. When you find yourself feeling stuck, anxious, depressed, or things might feel like they are falling apart around you, there is some part(s) of your being that is out of balance. I work with you to help you rediscover hope, and work toward regaining your life balance. I love my work. I meet you, my client, where you are, and work with you step by step, supporting you as you resolve challenges, work through difficult situation, or perhaps just need an unbiased set of ears to hear you. I am solution focused and work from an integrative and wholistic perspective, which means I use which ever treatment modality suits you best at any given time to help you achieve your goals. This is what helps you integrate as a whole being (mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually), so that you can realize your true and full potential.

I know it can be scary to reach out for help, especially in a culture that tells us we should be able to solve our problems on our own and, if we can’t, there is something wrong with us. Well, I’m here to challenge that culture that values independence more than interdependence, because as humans we are designed to be connected with others in relationships. And sometimes the first relationship that needs our focused attention is the one we have with ourselves in order to ‘show up’ in our relationships with others.
