Personal Statement:
David Blair, LMFT, is passionate about providing collaborative, creative therapy for families and individuals of all ages and walks of life. He enjoys getting to know you as a client and works closely with you to resolve your unique challenges. David has an extensive, diverse and culturally sensitive approach which he utilizes to complement each individual’s thinking process and creative abilities. He has consulted across the US with mental health clinics and psychiatric hospitals to enrich the quality of mental health care for his clients. David brings this experience to his private practice which focuses on working with; children, adolescents; adults and seniors; as well as transgender, lesbian, gay and bisexual people. David provides psychotherapy and tools needed to treat a wide range of issues like: anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, phobias, ADHD, PTSD and trauma related issues, as well as bipolar and psychosis. He will make a thorough diagnosis, come up with a comprehensive treatment plan and implement the best suited treatment modality. David also enjoys working on optimizing client’s individual communication skills and styles, positive coping strategies during life transitions. David helps his clients develop a tailored lifestyle to integrate their priorities in a balanced way. When appropriate, David helps his clients develop excellent support systems that can include; psychiatrists, other health care professionals, family members, school counselors and other community members. As his clients utilize their support systems they accelerate and strengthen their recovery. David is committed to his clients achieving the best possible outcomes while continually applying the best standards of care.
