Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Over 25 years experience in the field of psychology. Worked with most disorders in every category, and every age group. My primary focus is with helping adolescents and adults understand their psychological symptoms that are interfering with them being goal oriented. A person is their own expert. I will never know them as well as they know themselves. This is where I can help, and need their cooperation. A person doesn't automatically know themselves. This is a learning process that lasts their entire lifetime. A person does the best they can at any given point in time. It is my responsibility to help them understand themselves on a deeper level. In doing so, they will achieve knowledge of how they process information on an emotional level.

Pamela J. Blawusch, M.A.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Carlsbad, CA

I provide a therapeutic environment that allows individuals and couples to explore ideas, beliefs, life experiences, thoughts and feelings that may stand in the way of being who you truly want to be. I can help point out repeating dysfunctional patterns that may exsist in relationships at home, at work and with friends and family.I teach people how to respond in their lives versus getting caught in reacting to personalities and events.
