Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
David Ball serves his clients with a range of professional qualifications. For ten years, he labored as an urban church planting Pastor. David embraced a second Master’s Degree program in order to gain more tools for helping families in crisis. Those new tools were put to the test while working in a variety of clinical settings: a half-way house, a psychiatric hospital, fourteen skilled nursing facilities, a county mental health facility and a Christian counseling center. He and his wife have successfully raised three daughters, two with learning disabilities, who now have families of their own. He has enjoyed his new grandparent role.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
