Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I’m very big on the power of being able to feel things, in empathy, that go on under a client’s skin. But I do focus on helping people to reverse the process of toxic conditioning. We all get messages all through our lives, from ourselves and others. These messages are always in the process of causing us to behave/thing in certain ways. They determine what kinds of emotional reactions we’ll have to our scary, sad or challenging experiences.

I see psychotherapy as a change in one’s self, in all of its aspects. It’s a body, mind, emotion and spirit based change. It’s metamorphosing into the person who you “were” before you became who you “think” that you are…

Featured Therapist

Barbara Witney, MA
Donna Yorke, M.A.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Temecula, CA

I’ve been in private practice in Temecula since 1990. I work with individuals, couples and families on a variety of issues, using a straight-forward approach to problem solving. While I listen with empathy, I am an “active” therapist, meaning I make suggestions, give direction and homework to partner with my clients so they can solve their problems in a timely, effective manner.
