Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I have a passion for being with people in some of their deepest places of suffering and questions, and walking with them towards their healing and their own growth. My professional interests include trauma, abuse, depression, anxiety, creativity/arts, spirituality, pastoral, and cross-cultural issues, for individuals, teens, families, couples, or children. By seeking to provide a safe environment for each of my clients, I work with the hope of encouraging, processing, and helping not only the dissolution of whatever might be holding them back, but also the transformation into becoming more of who they most authentically are. I believe that the journey towards healing and growth is like looking and seeking to find a long lost buried treasure that is all yours, and unbenounced to you, has been all yours from the very beginning.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
