Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Happiness in life seems to be a matter of balance, but not only in managing the daily external business of our lives but also, and more importantly perhaps, in finding some kind of balance within. My approach is to facilitate the natural wisdom that we all possess but sometimes forget we have in the speed of life. To master our inner lives (what we think and how we respond and feel) is an art/science that can be learned. The obstacles to achieving our dreams can be removed only as we listen to our inner wisdom which has been covered over by conditioning and false beliefs. To hear and follow your intuition and the creativity connected to it, results in more satisfaction in relationships, work and ultimately in the relationship with your Self. This "unfoldment" is the process I facilitate.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
San Rafael, CA

My therapeutic style is non-judgmental, supportive, and interactive. My work is based on establishing a safe environment where trust can grow. I view symptoms as a way to call attention to unrecognized needs and unexpressed feelings. The goals of treatment include; learning to identify and express emotions, learning to set appropriate boundaries, developing skills such as self-soothing and impluse control and improving self-esteem.
