Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
We are whole by nature, though early on we created patterns of protection as we learned it was unsafe to be creative, expressive-our full serves. It’s important for me to provide a safe and supportive space for people to begin their emergence into authenticity, by helping them let go of who they feel they need to be in public. Maintaining such a persona makes it difficult to connect with out people, leading to separateness and alienation. Therapy can be a place to experience connection, to learn to feel free from judgment, to begin to learn how to embrace our vitality and to make choices that feel congruent with out own needs and desires. Once we become familiar with this place, we create relationships that make us feel included in the world around us, a part of all things. We enter a clearer channel to breath, beauty, nature and community.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
