Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Voted 2017's Best Sex Therapist in Sonoma and Napa counties by North Bay Bohemian readers! I believe everyone has the right to a healthy and happy sex life. Perhaps you are in a no sex marriage; perhaps you or your partner have a sexual dysfunction like painful intercourse or erectile dysfunction; or perhaps you're reeling from learning of your partner's betrayal. In our sex-negative culture, these are difficult issues to talk about and seek help for. I am here to help. I am an experienced Marriage and Family Therapist with advanced training in the psychotherapy portion of treating sexual issues. I work with straight and LGBT adult individuals and couples with a wide array of sexual problems including sexual dysfunctions, low libido, infrequent sexual activity, and betrayals of various kinds. I take your concerns very seriously and my clients tell me that it is easy for them to talk to me about these very private parts of their lives. No need to go to San Francisco to see an experienced sex therapist, I'm right here in Sonoma County.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
