Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
In my office I provide a compassionate and caring listening environment. We work together so that healing and growth can take place at your own rate, and from your own starting place, the place in which you feel safe and comfortable. I have 10 years of experience with victims of abuse, both childhood and partner abuse. I feel that one of the most important factors in surviving abuse is to grieve the past to live fully in the present.

Treatment ranges from short-term practical therapy to longer-term depth work. Whether the therapy is short- or long-term, I take a psyche-centered approach, respecting and supporting your own inner wisdom to know what is right for your growth and healing.

Clients wishing to explore their inner life are encouraged to make use of dreamwork and sandtray.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Redding, CA 96001

Approximately half of Dr. Copitch's practice involves children and families. The other half is devoted to individual therapy. And, as Dr. Copitch often jokes, "the third half of my work is devoted to school consultations, business consultations, and corporate trainings."
