Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Dianna Troutt is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has been in private practice since 1990. She specializes in working with couples, families, and individuals, as well as those dealing with depression, anxiety, children, and parenting skills. In her work with clients, Dianna uses a positive solution-focused approach that leads to people having a better experience in therapy. Rather than just focusing on rehashing the past, she teaches constructive skills to help people learn a better way to respond to problems rather than simply react out of frustration. She also helps couples and parents learn to communicate in a more respectful, loving way so that they can rediscover the joy in their relationship that has been lost along the way. If you are feeling frustrated or stuck in old patterns and want to learn new ways to approach whatever you might be struggling with, call Dianna today!

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
