Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Therapy is exercise for your mind. I want to work with you, stretching your mind to see the roadblocks in life from a different viewpoint. I am here to work with you to find new ways around those roadblocks. I work with you to identify what does work, what's not working and what keeps you from doing what works. I help you to discover new coping tools that you can take with you and use for new challenges that you face. Many issues come down to experiencing grief and loss - whether it's loss of job security, loss of a friendship/relationship, your health, or actual death. I work with you to integrate these experiences into your life so you don’t stay stuck. I also have experience working with those who have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety, acculturation challenges, stress management and health care concerns. I have extensive experience working with teens and adults. Home visits are available when the client is unable to travel due to health. Call today for a FREE 15 minute consultation.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
