Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Eventually we all experience grief and loss. Whether grieving the death of a family member, a pet; or facing a terminal illness, these events can turn your life “upside down.” As a therapist I help you cope with your overwhelming feelings, so that you can continue to go on with your life.

With my unique background as a therapist and former registered nurse, I have seen how the fear and reality of death and illness impact people. Without dispensing nursing advice, I provide a safe, therapeutic environment where you are free to express your feeling, and deal with your loss and sadness.

Whether you are parents of a child with special needs, a parent or family member coping with a medical issues, or you are struggling with the stressors of everyday life, I can help. I work collaboratively with you to explore your needs and being your emotional healing.

Featured Therapist

Barbara Witney, MA
Donna Yorke, M.A.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Temecula, CA

I’ve been in private practice in Temecula since 1990. I work with individuals, couples and families on a variety of issues, using a straight-forward approach to problem solving. While I listen with empathy, I am an “active” therapist, meaning I make suggestions, give direction and homework to partner with my clients so they can solve their problems in a timely, effective manner.
