Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I have designed a private psychotherapy office especially for the creative client. This type of personality is more visually sensitive to their environment. The unique eclectic furniture styles, colors, fabrics, lighting, varied types of art work, and musical instruments, help create an uplifting and soothing atmosphere for therapy.

Several theoretical orientations are used to help clientele with their symptoms. My practice specializes in the treatment of depression and issues of abuse, with diagnosis for mood and anxiety disorders. Many clients have learning disorders. A valuable goal is to help people to see the humor of life.

A variety of Jungian work including dream analysis, alternative therapies, as well as traditional orientations are implemented as client-needed. Importance of self development to create a full and healthy life is the program.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
