Personal Statement:
I am Doreen Landes, licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and board certified art therapist. I have had over twenty years experience working with sexual abuse issues treating children, adolescents, adults and families; victims and offenders of all ages. I have conducted trainings in art and play therapy for therapists. I have supervised MFT and PhD interns and interns working towards art therapy registration. I am presently in private practice in Redwood City after working for 15 years at the Giarretto Institute in San Jose, which specialized in work with all aspects of sexual abuse. As well as sexual abuse issues, I treat anxiety, depression, grief and loss, Post Traumatic Stress, and parenting problems.
