Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
From time to time we all can feel overwhelmed, defeated or that things are out of our control. At these times we all can use some help to meet the stress of modern life. Therapy offers a time away from daily life and provides the needed space to reflect and gain the perspective needed to re-establish a sense of balance.

As a therapist I provide a supportive, non-judgmental environment and I help clients develop insights, perspectives and skills, which enable them to manage life’s challenges more effectively, both in the present and the future.

I have many years of experience working with individuals, couple, and families. I use variety of therapeutic approaches depending on a client’s needs.

I invite you to call and talk with me about your needs. I offer a free telephone consultation and welcome any questions you may have about therapy in general or my work specifically.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
