Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Does your child/teen have trouble making and/or keeping friend or just doesn’t seem to “fit in”? Would you like to see your child improve his/her communication skills, grow as a leader, be respected by their peers, and maneuver through peer pressure?

Often symptoms such as anxiety, anger, depression, low self-esteem, fear of rejection, or difficulty relating to others are clues that something is life isn’t working. It is never too late to learn new skills and make changes in life which can lead to hopes and dreams being attained.

I became especially interested in children with special needs more than 30 years ago when my own child faced challenged with ADHD, Tourettes Syndrome, and OCD. I offer social skill training groups, advocacy, and family behavioral contracting in addition to my individual, child and family therapy practice. Office locations include both Encino and Santa Clarita areas. Please call me to discuss how new skills can be learned to get your child on the right track to achieving success.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Carlsbad, CA

I provide a therapeutic environment that allows individuals and couples to explore ideas, beliefs, life experiences, thoughts and feelings that may stand in the way of being who you truly want to be. I can help point out repeating dysfunctional patterns that may exsist in relationships at home, at work and with friends and family.I teach people how to respond in their lives versus getting caught in reacting to personalities and events.
