Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
As a California Licensed Marriage, Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, I help people deal with traumas so that they can go forward with their life goals. Currently, I specialize in PTSD and EMDR, and work as a Certified Facilitator with the E.M.D.R. Institute. E.M.D.R. has helped so many of my clients resolve issues quickly. In the past, I have worked as an Instructor of Human Sexuality, and in hospitals dealing with Addictions and Eating Disorders. Recovering from trauma and Chemical Dependency is an area that I specialize in, having worked with the O.C. Sexual Assault Network, the C.S.P. Victim/Witness Program, and the F.B.I. Recently, I have been working in Addiction Recovery with several well-known centers. I love helping people reach their goals, feel great, and start fresh with new possibilities. Call me with your questions.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
