Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I am a warm and genuinely caring Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a wealth of training and experience to assist you through all the phases of life.

My knowledge of human development and experience working with a multitude of populations including: all ages of children, individuals, couples, families, and victims of crime. My experience also entails crisis management, parenting difficulties, dealing with job loss, substance abuse, addictions, and anger management. I have worked collaboratively with primary caregivers, school professionals, and other health care professionals to create comprehensive service plans, increase family communication, decrease problematic symptoms/behaviors, and provide support along with understanding.

My theoretical orientation is a combination of Cognitive-Behavioral and Solution-Focused therapy as they are strength based, yield solutions and focus on the present. I provide a comfortable, non-judgmental, safe and supportive environment, where everyone is welcome.
