Personal Statement:
In my business, Mindfulpath, Inc, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist. I have been in private practice in Calabasas, CA since 1994 and am also specialized in working with women's issues and addiction. I am also a Clinical Director of a treatment center where I also work as a CAMFT Clinical Supervisor with MFT Trainees and Interns. I am also a speaker on the topic of eating disorders and recovery and a BBS approved CE provider. In addition, I am a published author with a new book to be released in June 2012 on eating disorders. At Mindfulpath Inc., Erica Ives, M.A., MFT provides individual, family, and group therapy. In addition to individual therapy, Erica facilitates eating disorder support groups, relapse prevention groups, and meal support. I have two MFT Interns, Jocelyn Wood and Jessica Morris, who are currently employed at Mindfulpath, Inc. Jocelyn also works with 's issues, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and prominent life transitions and is close to licensure as an MFT. Jocelyn and Erica are currently launching a new program at Mindfulpath Inc., known as Mindful Meditation, where we offer meditation and guided imagery groups as well as individual therapy. Jessica is currently launching a program under Mindfulpath, Inc., known as Mindful Mommies, where we provide individual and support groups for mom's to be, new mom's, and seasoned moms. I also work as a speaker and writer for prevention and intervention of eating disorders.
