Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
“Are you afraid you will never feel hopeful again? Are you worried about life choices or career and just can’t relax? Do you want help in understanding why you can’t find intimacy or how to improve it with your partner? Does an addiction have control over your true self? It takes courage to reach out for help when we want things to change.

Whatever your struggle is, I can help you restructure your life and create healthy relationships. I provide individual and couples therapy and work within a model and timeframe that will be specific to your needs.

I have nine years of experience helping clients cope with depression, anxiety, trauma, illness and addictions. I was educated at USC and am currently on faculty in their School of Social Work. My experience enables me to help you make positive changes, improve on strengths and develop better skills for living.”

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
