Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Sometimes we need extra help when facing particularly painful, overwhelming or puzzling situations. By setting aside a dedicated time and place in which to bring your full attention, and mine, to the task of sorting out what pains or blocks you, you give yourself the best opportunity to craft the life you wish to live. In the company of a skilled practitioner, the process of therapy can help you work through old patterns and address the challenges at hand. You can experience a greater sense of meaning, purpose, and peace in your life and in your relationships. Finding the right therapist may require that you speak to a number of practitioners. My work with clients reflects my belief that successful treatment happens through a combination of factors: developing practical skills, exploring the unconscious processes that can influence us, and experiencing the benefits of a rich therapeutic relationship. I offer a warm and supportive, yet challenging, environment in which to explore your concerns and make meaningful and lasting changes. You are welcome to contact me at the phone number or email address listed above with any questions you might have about my practice.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
