Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Healing arises from consciousness and awareness. Our true nature inherently knows what is the right action for us, and our suffering in life arises from being blocked from our feelings and understandings. The path to freedom is being open to the joys and sorrows of life. My work is to help people reconnect with themselves and to see through the structures and beliefs they have built from the past that create their issues in the present. I help clients explore the patterns that cause their pain both intellectually and experientially. Since clients can experience fear as part of this process, I provide a safe and nurturing holding environment for them. In my work with couples, I help them let go of the blaming and victimization that interferes with intimacy, and I teach them communication skills so that conflicts can be resolved without damaging the relationship bond.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Carlsbad, CA

I provide a therapeutic environment that allows individuals and couples to explore ideas, beliefs, life experiences, thoughts and feelings that may stand in the way of being who you truly want to be. I can help point out repeating dysfunctional patterns that may exsist in relationships at home, at work and with friends and family.I teach people how to respond in their lives versus getting caught in reacting to personalities and events.
