Personal Statement:
I have been a Licensed Marriage, Family and Child Therapist since 1990. I identify as Anishinaabe (Chippewa) and have a holistic, family systems perspective. My area of expertise has been adolescents and women’s issues, multicultural diversity, substance abuse/recovery, spirituality, healing from trauma of abuse (both giver and receiver), grief and loss, stress management and most importantly: self care. I have been a presenter addressing family violence at National Native Wellness conferences for a number of years. I am a contracted service provider for Cal Works. I am also a service provider for the Victim Witness program. I offer a sliding fee scale for those who do not carry insurance. I am on the referral list for students attending Antioch University West and am provider for a variety of EAP'S.
