Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I work with individuals, couples, and parents. If you're going through difficult times, feeling disconnected, or experiencing the stress of a life transition, I work to help you to feel and deal with the changes in a way that is safe, affirming and hopeful. My style is warm, down to earth, relational and highly interactive. My approach is collaborative, inclusive and tailored to meet your own specific needs.Tapping into your own wired-in resilience and strengths, we work together to create the movement and changes you'd like to see in your life. No matter how unsatisfying or unhappy things have become, I help couples to find a pathway to reconnection. By identifying longings and needs as well as negative cycles you may be stuck in, I help partners recognize their underlying emotions so they can express, empathize, build trust, appreciate, and come to deeply understand each other. I have additional training in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy, Collaborative Couples Therapy, Control Mastery Theory and AEDP. I am a certified parenting specialist with Marin County, and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #80508. FREE PHONE CONSULTATION, PLEASE CALL.

Donna Yorke, M.A.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Temecula, CA

I’ve been in private practice in Temecula since 1990. I work with individuals, couples and families on a variety of issues, using a straight-forward approach to problem solving. While I listen with empathy, I am an “active” therapist, meaning I make suggestions, give direction and homework to partner with my clients so they can solve their problems in a timely, effective manner.
