Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
You can live a more fulfilling and satisfying life! I love to work with individuals/couples to help you breakthrough seemingly intractable problems, grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, marital conflict, infidelity, apathy and more. I am an authentic man with a big, strong and soft heart. Kindness, mindfulness, and fierce caring are the capacities that most inform my work. I believe therapist and client(s) are equals in the work. I am committed to bringing all of me to the therapeutic relationship, and I will help you access your own inner healer. The work we do for you to heal yourself and or your relationship(s) - WE DO TOGETHER! I help people explore and transform difficulties via mindful, body centered, and attachment focused psychotherapies. I will guide you, individually, or as a couple, to notice, experience, transform and integrate your experiences. I love working with people in need, but I should warn you, we might laugh a lot too!

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
