Personal Statement:
I want to help you create greater satisfaction in your life based on your own values, beliefs, strengths and preferences. Your life experience matters and I can help you develop new ideas and skills or I can help you reconnect with valuable old or forgotten ones. I will listen with interest and empathy to your stories of tragedy, trouble and triumph. Together, we can grieve the tragedies, overcome the troubles, celebrate the triumphs and make real changes in your life. I am Lead Gender Therapist at Kaiser Permanente Sherman Terrace, Reseda, CA. I lead their Mindfulness Program and am co-founder/co-owner of NOW House Mindful Awareness Center. I am former Team Leader for the Adolescent Treatment & Couples Treament Teams at Kaiser, Reseda. At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
