Personal Statement:
Dr. Hittle has been in private psychological practice for over 35 yrs. serving San Diego and Imperial counties. Dr Hittle has received a broad range of training and utilizes multiple modalities in the course of assisting his patients toward growth and personal change. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Hittle has served as the Associate Director of a private community agency providing adolescent crisis intervention, staff training, and worked nationally to develop resources and curricula to assist adolescents and their families with value development, individuation, and adolescent developmental growth & awareness. Further He serves as a consultant to four Adult Health Day Care facilities for seniors and dependent adults providing brief psychotherapy, and staff training focused on the needs of the aging, their dependency issues, terminal illness, and the needs of the families supporting them.
