Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
After more than 20 years of experience in agencies and private practice, I have developed a specialty working with sexual abuse victims, sexually acting out adolescents and adults, and individuals and/or their partners with problems regarding sexually compulsive or addictive behaviors. I see individuals, couples and families and, when necessary, coordinate treatment with the criminal justice system. I developed the only treatment program for juvenile perpetrators in Marin County. I am currently working with the Catholic Church regarding this issue, and am Chair of the Bay Area Chapter of the California Coalition on Sexual Offending (CCOSO). In many cases that initially appear hopeless, I have found there is reason for hope. You will find me compassionate, engaging and practical. If you or someone you care about is struggling with these issues, please contact me. You don’t need to go through this alone.
