Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Therapy is such an important process. People come in with their lives not working and need effective help. My work often includes special trauma resolution processes which make growing and healing much faster and easier. Many people who have not been helped in previous therapies have found my work very helpful.

As a licensed psychotherapist since 1985, I specialize in and really enjoy helping people overcome the childhood wounds and issues which limit their lives. I work a lot with Abuse Survivors, Adult Children of Alcoholics, and people from dysfunctional homes.

I do a lot of Couples Therapy, providing insights, and tools such as communication skills for healthier relationships.

A combination of phone therapy (at a reduced fee) along with in-person sessions is now available.

My work provides practical tools and effective solutions to help people live more joyous, full and productive lives.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
