Personal Statement:
I, Jerry Davelaar am a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist. I received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at Fuller Theological Seminary School of Psychology. I also received a Master of Divinity at Fuller Theological Seminary School of Theology. After serving the church for 15 years as a pastor, 10 years as a senior pastor, I have returned to my work as a therapist. My areas of interest are: working with individuals seeking help for anger, shame, trauma, guilt, and depression; working with couples and parents seeking hope and help with marital and family issues. I have a special interest in working with pastors and their spouses regarding family and church struggles.
