Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Just as the earth operates within and around seasons, so our lives are filled with seasons, and some of those seasons bring storms. Some storms pass quickly and leave little to no damage. Then there are the storms that hit hard, last too long, and leave a wake of destruction. They can leave us feeling scared, hurt, sad, angry, and take away our joy; no longer doing the things we used to love. But there is hope. Through therapy, you can find a safe harbor and a place to heal. I am here to provide you with a safe non-judgmental place where you can overcome your anxiety, let go of your anger, find your inner strength, and learn to be kind to yourself so that you can find joy in life, even when life is not so enjoyable.
