Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Are you a parent of a special needs child or children that is struggling to find a therapist that really understands the complexities of your life? I have been there myself. I have more than 12 years of personal and professional experience working with families with special needs children. I believe parents are the real heroes and my job is to support them by giving them the tools and resources to help make family life happier and healthier for everyone. I have training and experience in adoption, foster care, autism, behavioral issues, emotional issues and other special needs. I offer appointments 7am to 7pm 7 days a week. Therapy can be done in the home, at my office or by telephone. I offer payment plans and a sliding scale. My focus is on the entire family's well-being. I do not give just cookie cutter solutions, but will work with your family's specific needs, and also offer services to assist you with IEPs and advocating for other services and resources for your family.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Redding, CA 96001

Approximately half of Dr. Copitch's practice involves children and families. The other half is devoted to individual therapy. And, as Dr. Copitch often jokes, "the third half of my work is devoted to school consultations, business consultations, and corporate trainings."
