Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
As a Marriage Family Therapist my expertise is in relationships. I will work with you to improve your relationships with others and with yourself. Our relationships can be negatively impacted by our inability to manage and regulate our emotions (anxiety, depression, anger, fear, guilt), grief or loss (a death of a loved one, divorce, illness or loss of a job), stress, self-image issues, addictions, trauma (child abuse or Post-traumatic stress disorder) or ineffective communication skills. I strive to provide a safe, nurturing and trusting environment in which my client can heal, learn skills, gain insight and move toward a life worth living. It takes courage to seek therapy and wisdom to know when it is time to get professional assistance. I invite you to contact me for a free phone consultation.

Are you stressed out? Do you sometimes find yourself snapping at your children? Would you describe your relationship with your husband as “distant”? Or do you feel like you are going to lose it if someone doesn’t give you a break? Being a mother, wife, or daughter can stretch us to our limits. During times like these it can feel like the world has been turned “upside down”. There is HOPE! You don’t have to figure this out alone. Let’s talk and see if I can help you make things “right side up” again.
