Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Sometimes life challenges us to either move ahead or face staying stuck in old patterns. We want to improve our relationships with others and the way we feel about our self. There is an inner knowledge that we haven’t reached our full potential. We want more out of life and better relationships yet may feel limited in knowing how to achieve greater happiness and fulfillment. My style is warm, communicative and insightful. I bring twenty five plus years of experience. Using a holistic approach that takes into account all of you we work together to create solutions. Psychotherapy begins as you tell me your story. I listen well and converse with you about your strengths, your issues and your goals. As important as what gets in your way are what strengths you already possess. I hope to add to those skills with insights, compassion and tools to help you move through impasses that are a part of living and a part of being human.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Temecula, CA

I’ve been in private practice in Temecula since 1990. I work with individuals, couples and families on a variety of issues, using a straight-forward approach to problem solving. While I listen with empathy, I am an “active” therapist, meaning I make suggestions, give direction and homework to partner with my clients so they can solve their problems in a timely, effective manner.
