Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Hello and welcome to my practice. I help clients to make intentional changes that honor and respect their own needs and values, and to become resilient, emotionally strong, and self-empowered in the process. I help clients to rediscover and strengthen their own sense of courage and hope. Modern life can at times seem overwhelming as we strive to find meaning and direction in our lives. I can help you on your journey to find greater meaning and fulfillment, identify ways you can work towards achieving your dreams, and improve your personal relationships. Using an integrative approach that combines Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Family Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, and Mindfulness practices, I help clients overcome obstacles, by recognizing, understanding, and changing thinking and behavior patterns that can lead to feelings of distress. I can help you discover the strength to heal old wounds, the courage to follow your dreams, and the wisdom to examine what is holding you back.

Are you stressed out? Do you sometimes find yourself snapping at your children? Would you describe your relationship with your husband as “distant”? Or do you feel like you are going to lose it if someone doesn’t give you a break? Being a mother, wife, or daughter can stretch us to our limits. During times like these it can feel like the world has been turned “upside down”. There is HOPE! You don’t have to figure this out alone. Let’s talk and see if I can help you make things “right side up” again.
