Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I’ve been in private practice for thirty years in San Francisco as a Licensed Psychologist and Licensed Marital and Family Therapy. I also consult with psychiatric residents at UCSF as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine. I work with adult individuals seeking help with a wide variety of issues including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, loss and grief. I work with a psychodynamic theoretical model as a means of understanding and integrating the complex relationship that individuals and couples present.

I also enjoy working with graduate students, interns, and residents and provide a sliding scale for students in accordance to their ability to pay.

I offer free consultation over the phone or in person. To arrange a time, send an e-mail to Dr. Ingrid Tauber.
