Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I believe therapy is a place for emotional healing, relationship restoration and personal growth. It is a collaborative process where we will define the goals together. My overall approach is to provide you with the coping skills to deal with the current issues, while exploring the whys and hows of the matter. Often, when we are able to verbalize our thoughts and feelings, we can see the situation with more clarity. I hope to provide that space where we will be able to process these thoughts and feelings.

The following are some areas I enjoy working in:
  • Women going through transitions, especially relationship transitions.
  • Girls going through their developmental process.
  • MFT trainees and interns who want to work on personal growth and to have a place to process their internship experience. I know how important it is to have experience on “the other side of the couch”.
