Services
Individual, Couple and Family Therapy I am a dedicated and skilled licensed Marital and Family Therapist specializing in individual, couples, and family therapy. I maintain a private practice in West Los Angeles and Irvine, California. I am a caring professional with an engaging communication style. I’m also a Family Systems oriented psychotherapist with over 16 years experience as a Therapist. For 14 years I was the Department Chair of the Marital and Family Therapy Department of The California Graduate Institute specializing in Psychodynamic/Bowen Systems Theory/Evidenced Based Practices while managing accrediting, faculty, and student affairs. I’m currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of expertise are the psychology of men and women, substance abuse, relationship issues, adolescent concerns, couples therapy, and family of origin issues. I’m also a TriCare provider for military personnel. In addition, I am a clinical member of both the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. I also supervise interns as a CAMFT Certified Supervisor. I guide interns through their journey of licensure training them about treatment planning, legal and ethical issues, referrals, and their own transferences. I present at conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of archetypal psychology, family dynamics, CBT systems theory, and relationships. I teach graduate students and therapists in the areas of clinical practice. My therapeutic approach is to provide support, insight, and goals to help clients and interns effectively address challenges. I integrate complimentary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client and intern. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth for which they’re striving.
