Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
As a family systems, schema therapist, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can’t change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand how the past has affected your life and resolve challenges in your life by resolving the past. By applying complimentary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions, based in the past that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life. Through journal writing and autobiographical work, we can unravel the past, so the future is for you to make. In couples work, unraveling the personal past of each person in the relationship, can be the solution to a fuller and richer relationship.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
