I believe we each have an incredible power to heal, renew and restore our lives. My treatment approach is based on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) developed by Marsha Linehan, Ph.D., Research conduct by Dr. Linehan has documented the effectiveness of this treatment. The objective of this approach is to help individuals resolve crises by a accepting the client’s experience as valid while simultaneously expecting change. The methods utilized in DBT are: Individual DBT, Telephone Consultation to the client, Skills Training Group and Group Consultation to the Therapist.
