Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I received a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Bethel Seminary. Here, I was trained in providing therapy from a client centered Christian perspective. I have a passion for working with women's issues, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and behavioral issues with children. My speciality is focused around the field of trauma and abuse. This developed through several years working within the field of social services with foster children and foster families, in addition to receiving special training and experience working with victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. I enjoy helping people to overcome the difficulties and problems in their life, find their inner strength, and have healthy and fulfilling relationships.
