Janet Blaser, MFT, has been working as a therapist since 2001. She provides a safe and non-judgmental space in which her clients uncover and explore the areas in their lives that are blocking their growth. This exploration helps to restore their natural state of equilibrium.
Janet helps her clients to discover and name their core strengths, working with the idea that the more time and energy they spend working in their areas of strength, the happier and more successful they will be.
In her work with children and adolescents Janet employs art and play therapy techniques that engage young people in their own processes of development. She meets them where they are and supports them to tell their stories. Through this process young people identify with a truer and more productive story about themselves than they have been experiencing due to learning, attention, emotional and even cultural issues.
