Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
There are times in all of our lives when we experience challenging emotional situations. Sometimes, when these situations arrive we can benefit from the support of a person outside of our inner circle of family and friends. The process of therapy, and the journey of self-discovery in a supportive setting can help us understand our confusing thoughts, feelings, and behavioral patterns that seem to be keeping you stuck. Whether you have feelings of depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, or a challenging life transition, I will collaborate with you to help you find clarity. I tailor therapy to your individual needs. As your therapist, I will listen, collaborate with and support you. Through our work, you can increase your self-esteem, improve your relationships, and process your emotions. Together, we can conquer life's obstacles so you can lead a richer, fuller life I believe it takes a great deal of courage to contact a therapist for help with a personal or relational problem. Please feel free to call me and I will answer any of your questions or concerns that you may have about the therapeutic process.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
