Personal Statement:
Jeanne Prinzivalli is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, specializing in individual therapy with adults and young adults, and maintains a private practice in West Los Angeles, CA. As a marriage and family therapist, and a graduate of Antioch University, Jeanne uses her theoretical foundation of object relations, to assist clients with growth and understanding. She also utilizes numerous other tools, including mind-body connection, to meet the client where they are in the moment. Her areas of expertise including depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, and daily stressors. With compassion and understanding, Jeanne works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain personal growth. Her therapeutic approach allows the client and therapist to work as a team to provide support and feedback. Her goal is to provide a supportive and nurturing environment to allow the client to grow at their own pace, while also challenging those thoughts and behaviors that are not helpful. She will provide a safe holding space to allow for exploration of the unknown parts of self, as well as those vulnerabilities that are many times ignored or avoided. Jeanne will also guide and assist the client in understanding body reactions to personal and outside stimuli.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
