Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Are you or a family member struggling and unsure of where to turn for help? Finding the right therapist can be confusing at times. As an experienced therapist who has worked with children and their families for 10 years, I work closely with my clients to develop specific goals that focus on: increasing loving relationships, overcoming negative thinking, anxiety and depression and to create an opportunity to regain a healthy, balanced, joyful life.

I specialize in children, adults and families who are facing life changing experiences that leave them with emotional and/or behavioral problems. A recent divorce, hospital stay or other traumatic event can leave people feeling overwhelmed, lonely and depressed. I can help.

It takes courage to be willing to face what is not working in your life. I can offer support and guidance during current stress or in facing long-term problems. It is time to stop struggling alone.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
