Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Due to my current responsibilities associated with San Luis Obispo County Mental Health employment, I am not presently accepting new clients or patients.

It is my belief that most everyone has the inherent capacity to live a satisfying and productive life; to do great things. Unfortunately, at times, as imperfect humans, we meet with obstacles that are difficult to overcome, and we sometimes stumble. Though it is not easy to ask for assistance, for many, the moment we do becomes a turning point in our lives. My many years of practice, colleague consultation, formal training across multiple settings, college level teaching plus varied clinical experiences has enabled me to determine, with relative speed and efficiency, just how to assist other's in overcoming life's obstacles, in taking positive risks, and moving forward once again, allowing those who are successful, to return to the path of intrinsic satisfaction and positive endogenous returns. I take pride in my ability to put myself out of a job (i.e. as the treating therapist) as quickly as possible.

Due to my current responsibilities associated with San Luis Obispo County Mental Health employment, I am not presently accepting new clients or patients.
