Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
I guide and assist clients to explore and deepen their connection with themselves and others. This naturally invites healing, deepens intimacy, and opens up the potential for new, more satisfying ways of being and belonging in the world. I see distressing symptoms, difficult relationships, and painful situations as disguised allies and guides leading the way to wholeness, vitality, and health. My approach is practical and my style is warm, direct, personal and honest. I have been engaged with my own unfolding journey of healing and spiritual development for nearly 20 years. This, coupled with a rich clinical training in body-centered, relational and emotionally focused approaches offers a deep well of resources and wisdom that I draw from as a therapist.

At the core of many personal issues lie old messages of your sense of worth. Those messages conveyed to you while growing-up that minimized your self-esteem. The journey inward toward your past can often be frightening and disheartening. By slowly revisiting the wounded part of yourself, old repetitive behaviors can cease to exist. A new sense of kindness toward yourself will begin to emerge. Allow me to travel with you to discover what is buried deep inside of your soul, exploring what keeps you from becoming all that you want to be.
