Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
Are you having trouble moving forward after a difficult or even devastating experience? Do you suffer from disruptive thoughts, memories and anxiety? Has your self-esteem and confidence been affected? I can help! You don't have to live this way. I can provide effective, and often brief, treatment for anxiety and trauma that will change and improve the quality of your life and relationships. I am fully trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), which is a specialized treatment for trauma, PTSD, phobias and anxiety. This therapy is very rewarding and brings hope to situations that may seem hopeless. As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I can assist with trauma, PTSD, grief, loss, pre-marital and relationship issues in marriage, anxiety and depression. I can also help if you are experiencing intrusive thoughts or memories by working toward decreasing these disturbing symptoms and the impact they may have on your daily life. I believe that therapy begins with a safe and respectful environment where individual and relational needs are compassionately addressed. It is my personal and professional commitment to assist each client in reaching a place of greater health, peace and wholeness through therapy
