Personal Statement

Personal Statement:
As a licensed psychotherapist, I specialize in working with millennials, professionals, parents and couples who struggle with relationship conflict, are overwhelmed at work and home or who seek more joy and purpose in their life. Together, we develop measurable goals and learn new ways to manage old problems. I believe that therapy should be a supportive and engaging process that is both collaborative and solution-focused. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I provide a safe space where clients can share their feelings and experiences without the fear of shame or judgment. While my therapeutic modality is eclectic and tailored to the individual, I always work from a strength-based approach. This means that we explore your innate set of skills and build upon the strengths you already to possess to achieve the positive outcomes that you desire. Change requires both intention and actions. I applaud your courage and wisdom for seeking help and taking this first step towards making a change in your life. If you are ready to move beyond wishes and intentions to action and fulfillment, I am here to empower and support you. I want to help you achieve your goals. In order to arrange a time for an initial consultation, please call or send me an email.

Are you stressed out? Do you sometimes find yourself snapping at your children? Would you describe your relationship with your husband as “distant”? Or do you feel like you are going to lose it if someone doesn’t give you a break? Being a mother, wife, or daughter can stretch us to our limits. During times like these it can feel like the world has been turned “upside down”. There is HOPE! You don’t have to figure this out alone. Let’s talk and see if I can help you make things “right side up” again.
